About Me

Hello! I'm Eden, a traditional & digital artist from Cedar Falls, Iowa who believes crayons are a serious art supply and that art needs a little childlike joy.My work blends childhood whimsy with themes of faith, memory, and identity.Whether I’m using bright colors or soft textures, I’m always trying to reconnect with the curiosity and wonder I had as a kid

A heartfelt mini-series of illustrations inspired by saints both real and imagined, drawn entirely with crayons. This project began as a personal and playful exploration of faith, memory, and creativity. I challenged myself to use crayons, often seen as a childish
tool, to create expressive portraits of saints, blending reverence with imagination. Some drawings are based on historical figures like St. Kateri Tekakwitha and St. Therese of Lisieux, while others are original inventions like the Saint of Playground Confessions or the Saint of Forgotten Imaginary Friends.
Each piece was created between May 15–30, 2025, and reflects a different facet of holiness, nostalgia, or personal meaning. The series helped me reconnect with both my art practice and my inner child.
